I believe healing is possible. I have seen it in others, and I have experienced it firsthand.

Experiences create feelings, we carry what we experience in our bodies and that begins very early on in life. Those experiences whether conscious or not drive the way we react and respond in our relationship to ourselves, to others and to the world in general. I don’t believe therapy needs to be about digging through the memories or events of the past. We can look at what’s going on today, explore what is working and not working, and use that as a place to begin to explore what it is that you want for yourself  and collaborate on how you get there.

I love working with people who are curious about themselves and are willing to continue to show up for themselves, even on the days that feel the most challenging to do so.

There is a sacredness to the therapist-client relationship; opening yourself up to another person in an effort to heal yourself is vulnerable and as I see it vulnerability equates with strength and I honor that strength in all my clients. I am here to be a safe place to explore and process in present-time the things that you most want to work on for yourself. And if you don’t know what it is you need to work on yet, I am here to help you figure that out.

I am the proud mother of three thriving young women–a teacher, a nurse, and a social worker. When I am not working, I love spending time with my family. I also  enjoy traveling, hiking, my elliptical and just hanging out with friends
